Group Teacher 

We are looking for a wonderful group teacher to join our team in September. This is a permanent role for someone who is passionate about early years and a real team player. 

Essential criteria includes:

1. Level 3 early years education and childcare qualification or equivalent.
2. Willingness to learn.
3. Previous experience of working with young children.
4. Sound knowledge of child development for children from birth to five years.
5. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
6. Knowledge of child protection procedures.
7. Good communication skills.
8. An understanding of play based approaches to children’s learning and development.
9. Commitment to equal opportunities.
10. Commitment to working effectively with young children and families.
11. Friendly and flexible approach at work which facilitates the development of effective relationships.

Start date: September 2021.

Salary: Competitive - dependent on qualifications and experience.

Nursery Assistant

We are looking for an amazing assistant to join our team in September. This is a permanent role for someone who enjoys working with early years and prepared to support the team wherever needed. 

Essential criteria includes:

 1. To contribute to a planned programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in conjunction with other staff;
2. Support all staff and engage in a good staff team;
3. To be flexible within working practices of setting. Be prepared to help where needed.
4. Tasks will include; certain domestic jobs within the setting, e.g. preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment etc; assisting the teachers with daily activities and outdoor learning; lunch duty; assisting with extra-curricular activities.
5. Recording accidents in the accident book. Ensure the manager has initialled the report before the parent receives it;
6. Look upon the setting as a "whole" where can your help be most utilised, be constantly aware of the needs of children;
7. To ensure that children are kept safe and that you understand when to follow child protection procedures.
8. To support meal times within the setting. To carry out one or two lunch duties per week.
9. To actively participate at supervision meetings and appraisal meetings.
